It was medieval Christian churchmen and intellectuals that birthed the Scientific Revolution. Men like Thomas Aquinas, William of Ockham, Robert Boyle, Roger Bacon and many more gave us the world of modern science and the university system.

Further, it was enlightenment era Christians who forged our most progressive political documents allowing for unprecedented freedoms and protections from tyrannical governments. And unleashed economic freedoms that, to this day, bring the rest of the world knocking on our door.

In short, the Western world was built on the back of classical Christianity and on the shoulders of Christian intellectuals.

The Church needs to re-capture it’s stance as the most effective thought culture in our modern world.

Good things happen when it does.
